Assistant-Administrative Fesler Hall

Schedule: Full Time, 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday

This position will support Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgeons. The position will be remote (subject to change as business needs change) after successful complete of training.

What You Will Be Doing:

·         Oversee patient flow from point of entry to destination and ensures timely, accurate and professional services.

·         Communicate with patients to obtaining specific information to generate accurate demographic records.

·         Complete insurance verifications.

·         Schedule and Coordinate surgeries and appointments.

·         Provide legendary customer service to our patients.

·         Effectively communicate with the physicians regarding their surgery scheduling needs,

·         Accurately tracking & documenting the surgery scheduling process from start to finish.

·         Answer incoming calls, and directing patients appropriately,

·         Schedule meetings and manage calendars.

·         Participate in operational aspects of the department and maintain performance improvement activities as required.

·         Adhere to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals.

·         Ensures the availability of doctor’s block times & works on achieving goals for block utilization.

What You Will Need:

·         High School Diploma/GED.

·         0-3+ years relevant experience; previous administrative experience preferred.

·         Basic typing and keyboarding skills with a minimum of 30 wpm

·         Experience with a complex work environment a plus.

·         Attention to detail is a must

·         Develops and maintains relationships with our surgeon and hospital schedulers

·         Basic proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
