Assistant Airport Operations Manager - Project Support (ALS) (24-month contract)
Role Introduction

Reports to: Head of Airport Operations

This role is part of the Airport Operations team, focuses on optimizing loading and unloading processes to enhance operational efficiency.

As an Assistant Airport Operations Manager – Project Support (ALS), you will provide subject matter expertise in aircraft loading operations, assist in designing loading and unloading processes, and develop standard operating procedures. You will participate in system testing and deliver training programs to facilitate a smooth transition to the new Ramp Application - Mobile Load 2.0 system.

You will gain experience in process optimization and system implementation. This position offers the potential for significant contributions to operational success and personal growth in the field.

Key Responsibilities
Provide subject matter expertise in aircraft loading operationsAssist in the design of the loading/unloading and load control processesContribute to the development of fall-back proceduresSupport the documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manualsParticipate in comprehensive system testing and on-site trialsLiaise with outports and coordinate device configuration and deploymentContribute to the design and delivery of computer-based and practical training programsProvide regional/outport support during the system cutoverAssist with quality control and review of the project executionRequirements
University graduate with minimum 5 years’ experience in ramp operationsDemonstrated experience and subject matter expertise in aircraft loading operationsPrevious experience as an Aircraft Loading Supervisor (ALS) or Turnaround Coordinator (TCO) or Load Controller (LCO)Strong analytical, problem-solving and planning skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood command of both spoken and written English.Willingness to travel to various locations as requiredAbility to work outside of standard office hoursPersonal & Application Information
