The Virginia Tech College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences is seeking applicants for an assistant/associate director of advising*. This full-time position will be a key member of the Undergraduate Academic Affairs team in the college, a diverse organization that includes over 4,000 students in more than 40 majors.

This position collaborates with the Director of Advising on strategic advising initiatives and provides primary academic support for students related to academic interventions and academic eligibility. Additionally, this position will coordinate all aspects of the College’s transfer credit needs and serve in a leadership capacity by supporting College-wide events. As and if needed, this position may also assist with academic advising and first-year experience course instruction.

*Position level will be dependent on the selected candidate’s education and experience related to the role.
