Department: Dept of Forensic Science Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties: The Department of Forensic Science is conducting a search for a forensic science faculty position within its FEPAC -accredited MS program and Ph.D. program. Applicants with experience in forensic toxicology, controlled substances/drug chemistry, forensic anthropology, forensic biology, forensic analytical chemistry, or instrumental analysis experience will be considered Educational Requirements for the Position (Faculty Positions Only): Candidates for this tenure-track faculty position should have a Doctoral degree in a relevant scientific field and relevant research/teaching experience in forensic science or a closely related discipline. Experience Required for the Position (Faculty Positions Only): Must be able to develop and teach graduate-level courses in forensic science, pursue a sustained research agenda, supervise graduate student research and actively participate in the continuous development of forensic science programming at SHSU .
