Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor Neurosurgery Endovascular Surgeon

Advertising Copy The Department of Surgery at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Health Medical Group, are seeking to fill a faculty position in the Division of Neurological Surgery. Successful candidates will have completed a Committee on Advanced Subspecialty Training ( CAST ) approved endovascular fellowship or with equivalent credentialing. They will participate in stroke calls and will collaborate in an established endovascular group as well as participate in general neurosurgical calls. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the candidate will be expected to participate in the education of Neurosurgery residents and medical students as well as contribute academically to the division. Candidates at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor rank in the Clinical Scholar Pathway will be considered for this position. All applicants must be Board eligible or certified in Neurosurgery. Successful candidates must be eligible for licensure in the State of Vermont, eligible to work in the United States. This is a full-time, 12-month, salaried position with attending staff privileges at the University of Vermont Health Medical Group. Located in Burlington, the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Health Medical Group as Vermont’s only academic medical center. It is the only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center in the state and provides tertiary care to patients from Vermont and Northern New York. Anticipated Pay Range The anticipated salary range for this position is $600,000-$650,000 The referenced salary range reflects the combined total range based on dual employment by both the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Health Network.
