Posting Summary The Department of Oral Biology is searching for a Molecular Biologist for two (2) faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor – tenure track or with tenure. The Department is an integral member of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and as such has access to highly qualified PhD students.

In this role, the applicant will develop and supervise scientific projects and establish research initiatives designed to place the department in a position of national prominence. The applicant will also collaborate in discoveries that will enhance the understanding of bacterial pathogenesis and/or host susceptibility to oral disease. The applicant be expected to: develop an innovative, internationally competitive research program, supported by external funding; participate in training PhD students: contribute to the Department’s graduate and undergraduate research and teaching programs.
