4 Year Degree The University of South Alabama is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Athletic Director, Football Chief of Staff. This is a full time, 12-month position including benefits. This position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Reports to Head Football Coach.

-Manages the day to day operations and programming of the sport of football. Practice planning and execution; Team Travel; Assists with recruiting activities-specifically on campus recruiting activities

-Oversees the football administrative assistants; Oversees all student support, football sport managers, equipment managers, and video managers; Oversees graduate assistants

-Monitors the program's budget and is the primary liaison with the Athletic Business Office, Purchasing and Human Resources; Primary leader in camps and clinics.

-Regular and prompt attendance; strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple duties with great attention to detail and timelines; ability to work schedule as defined including nights and weekends; Operating knowledge of various computer systems (specifically Word and Excel); Sound written and verbal communication skills; Knowledge of and adherence to all University of South Alabama, Sun Belt Conference and NCAA rules and regulations; Tremendous interpersonal skills; Other duties as defined by Athletic Director or Head Football Coach.

-Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with at least three (3) years experience in football coaching, football-related operations and/or athletic-related operations.
