The University of Texas at Dallas seeks an experienced and energetic athletic trainer who will, with the scope of licensure and legal boundaries, provide education, assessment, treatment and prevention services for athletic-related injuries and illnesses to assigned student-athletes, coaching staff, and members of the Athletic Department. The individual will assist in the day-to-day management of the athletic department’s sports medicine operation and provide effective delivery of athletic training services.

Expected to work extended hours, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays during athletic seasons. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs., travel on a bus or in vans for an extended period of time, and must be able to stand on feet outside for a long period of time. Must be able to work on a team, and adjust to schedules that may change.

•A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Athletic Training, Physical Education, or a related field is required.
•Must possess a current and valid State of Texas Athletic Training license OR be eligible to immediately obtain this licensure.
•Must be certified in First-aid, CPR and AED use.
•Southwest Athletic Trainers Association (SWATA) member if applicable
•BOC License
