Job Description:

We’re looking for an Assistant Audit Manager to join our Audit Services, Asia at MBPS. In this role, you are accountable for planning, executing and/or leading and completing audit projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Planning and Execution: Assist in preparing the annual audit plan, lead various types of audits, and ensure quality and compliance with standards.

Risk Evaluation and Reporting: Evaluate risk management and internal controls, present findings, and prepare clear and concise audit reports.

Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI, Tableau) to enhance audit effectiveness and efficiency.

Issue Follow-Up and Collaboration: Regularly follow up on corrective actions with management and collaborate with local and onshore audit teams.

Team Leadership and Initiative Participation: Provide guidance and coaching to team members, and actively participate in departmental initiatives.

Minimum Skills to Hire:

Experience and Knowledge: Over 6 years of relevant experience with expertise in life insurance, asset management, audit methodologies, and risk management.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics tools (SQL, PowerBI, Tableau) and recognized professional designations (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA, CIA, CISA).

Communication and Relationship Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, proven relationship management skills, and ability to resolve conflicts.

Results-Oriented and Analytical: Ability to balance multiple priorities, detail-oriented with a focus on key risks, and make practical recommendations.

Team Collaboration and Feedback: Strong team player, able to collaborate in a multicultural environment, and actively seek and provide constructive feedback.
