THE JOB:

As the Assistant Beverage Manager, your role is pivotal in ensuring the operational excellence of the beverage department. Beyond just managing operations, including 8+ bars and 75+ team members, you'll be instrumental in shaping the guest experience. Your welcoming demeanor and attentive service will set the stage for memorable interactions with our guests. THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Manage assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the departmentDirect smooth, efficient, cost-effective operation, including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services, scheduling and inventory controlManage delivery and measurement of guest service within assigned department(s) consistent with the company’s core service standards and brand attributesProvide management support in the oversight of assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality service to the guestsCoordinate the requisition process and stocking of beverage outlets to maximize revenue for the divisionProvide guidance and counsel to beverage employees, ensure the staff is scheduled properlyProvide recommendations to management on daily operational issuesPerform other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidaysScheduling experienceExperience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining AgreementExperience working in a similar resort settingAdministrative abilitiesWorking knowledge of inventory managementAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsAble to lead and mentor a teamAbility to work under pressureAbility to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environmentBasic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machineExcellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detailExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
