My client in the legal industry is looking for an Assistant Billing Specialist to join their team in the Orlando office. The Assistant Billing Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of bills and invoices for various Billing Attorneys. The individual in this role processes client bills using Pre-bill Viewer and Aderant software for both electronic and paper-based invoicing. They submit client invoices and accruals through various e-billing websites, ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of each submission. Additionally, the individual researches and addresses any accounting or billing inquiries, reviews and edits pre-bills based on requests from attorneys and assistants, and handles a high volume of complex billing tasks. They also verify the accuracy of all billing documentation and assist with special projects, ad hoc reports, and other duties as needed. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime as needed.
