In the absence of the Boutique Proprietor, the Assistant Boutique Proprietor is responsible for all aspects of running the Boutique business. They are required to use all resources and tools to create the best atmosphere for our customers and employees and ensure operational efficiency. The Assistant Boutique Proprietor is a smart, scrappy self-starter who exemplifies the Benefit brand DNA in the Boutique.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Leadership-
Uphold Benefit and LVMH policies to promote a feel good and fun environment for customers and employees. Ensure self and Boutique team is compliant with all LVMH, Benefit, and Boutique policies and procedures. Lead by example; motivate and inspire your team to meet goals and objectives.
-Customer Service & Experience-
Create an environment that is passionate about customer experience. Proactively ensure client satisfaction and issue resolution in-store; respond to customer concerns or inquiries within 24 hours; document and report these incidents to Boutique Proprietor. Act as host and customer experience lead in-store. Enable team members to deliver personalized and memorable service experiences; ensure CRM accuracy and communication to Aestheticians through utilization of service chits. Monitor and manage store email accounts daily.
-Sales & Results-
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly individual product sales per hour goals, and store overall sales goals. Monitor store KPIs through PowerBI reporting and other platforms: conversion, productivity, A-Launch Goals, and in-store incentives. Motivate, coach, and develop team members to meet individual and store goals. Support Boutique Proprietors to generate sales through community outreach. Secure and lead in-store events (Beauty Bashes).
-Training & Education-
In partnership with Boutique Proprietor, lead store Education in all areas: service, product, and operational training. Track Education module completion to ensure 100% participation and pass rates for the store team. Follow up and follow through on training to ensure all team members are comfortable with the material and systems. Ensure new hire Aestheticians are signed off on all services within 2 months of hire. Observe, coach, and support team members to demonstrate selling strategies and operational efficiency.
-People-
Support Boutique Proprietor with hiring, onboarding, developing, and retaining people. Proactively recruit talent to ensure a consistent pipeline of candidates. Work with Boutique Proprietor to review applications and invite qualified candidates for interviews. Conduct the second interview and audition process with candidates. Partner with BP to identify growth opportunities for team members. Partner with Boutique Proprietor, Regional Boutique Proprietor, and HR Business Partner to address concerns and support documentation for unsatisfactory performance and policy violations in a consistent and timely manner.
-Operations-
Actively manage appointment book daily to maximize service volume opportunity (fill rate and yield management). Occasionally provide services for clients; ABP position will not have an open book but may need to cover appointments when unplanned Aesthetician absences. Assist with inventory management and accuracy; Monitor stock levels on all inventory items, and ensure procedural compliance for receiving, transferring, and returning merchandise. Maintain excellent cash management. Management of the safe and applicable security codes. Ensure Compliance with state board regulations and Benefit Safety & Hygiene policies. Communicate all policy/procedure updates and important issues to the boutique team in a timely, clear, and concise manner in the absence of the Boutique Proprietor. Support the Boutique Proprietor in executing direction and updates from the Home Office Team; ensure ThinkTime tasks are completed on time and communication reaches all store team members. Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the Boutique.

Requirements
Able to perform the following physical duties including, but not limited to:
Continuous standing/ walking for 8 hours. Unpacking and lifting boxes up to 40lbs. Stocking and filling shelves, drawers, and showcases. Cleaning displays and Boutique. Employees have physical contact with clients/ customers. Must be comfortable selling makeup and generating business outside of the Boutique. Verbally communicate with clients and Boutique employees in a clear manner. Consistent and reliable attendance. Operate POS system, E-waiver iPad, all Boutique technology, laptop (used for online scheduling), alarm keypad, and calculator. This position requires the final candidate to successfully pass an E-Verify check.
Qualifications
Active Aesthetician or Cosmetology license required. Proven strong sales and service track record. 1-2 years of retail experience with a minimum of 1 year management experience. Flexibility regarding work hours; ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. Strong interpersonal skills in customer service. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proficient computer skills.

The target salary range for this position is $19.00 - 24.00/hr. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
