JOB PURPOSE
The Unilever Professional Brand Manager, Southern Africa, leads the customer facing execution of the brand’s omni-channel marketing plans to deliver financial and growth ambitions; leading all ATL, BTL and customer facing activities and engagements to drive relationships with customers and operators. Their role will be in supporting the U-Pro Marketing Manager in developing the team through capability building of internal and external parties.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Craft and drive the full operator lifecycle journeys using insights built from retailers/distributors, operators and cleaners into actionable plans
Plans and executes full Omni-Channel journey plans for the year across all touchpoints, creating content to drive operator visibility, engagement and conversion
Lead execution of customer facing execution, including digital retail programs, operator facing PR/Endorsement programs and events
Develops Partner ecosystems to increase reach/content/credibility
Manage ATL Media plans with agencies to create content that builds the overall awareness of U-Pro as a brand
Lead and project manage innovation projects based on the long term innovations strategy of U-Pro
Ensures product campaign, messages integration into content Calendar & journey stages
Lead cross functional teams to ensure successful execution of innovation launch plans and post launch evaluations, being responsible for Sales enablement
Constantly review brand and initiative performance for ongoing improvement
Drive internal education of activities, innovations, product Features and Benefits of all products with all relevant stakeholders across required platforms, whilst crafting an externally focused education program for our operational partners
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
Relevant Degree or equivalent
3 - 5 years of relevant work experience
Experience in managing a complex portfolio (e.g. sub-brands, formats, local/global networks)
OOH / B2B Marketing Experience
Additional Advantages
Localizing and Executing Brand Plans:
Landing Operator/Consumer Focused Activity plans
Leveraging PR and Digital to drive brand plans and growth
OOH / B2B Cleaning Industry Experience:
Understanding trends within the B2B cleaning space
