Summary This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resiliency and well-being of Soldiers and Families. Responsibilities Assist the Business Manager (Food Service) in directing the operations and supervision of multiple food service facilities to include Sip of Glory, the Ridge Sports Bar, Scoop of Glory and catering on and offsite. Conducts surveys, reviews activity reports, and makes recommendations concerning services, promotion activities, and revenue improvements. Assist Business Manager in the selection of employees and in training new employees to work situations, compliance with health and safety standards, and proper use of storage of tools and equipment. Completes cash reports, and makes daily deposits. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualified candidates will possess the following: work experience performing the following duties: Leading others in food service facilities; and Recommending and enforcing internal operating procedures; and Assisting in training new employees to work situations, compliance with health and safety standards, and the proper use of storage of tools and equipment., AND ability to work effectively in a fast paced, stressful environment, AND good interpersonal skills, AND ability to communicate orally (by word of mouth) and in writing.
