Summary:

Responsible for all phases of assigned projects, ensuring the successful conclusion of all phases within an appropriate time and at appropriate cost. Performs analysis to develop design options or recommendation for maintaining and improving, structures, processes, and equipment.

Prepares or secures and reviews cost estimates.Compiles required cost and equipment information and writes appropriate requests.Responsible for all aspects of project work including design, CIR write –ups, developing contractor bid packages, overseeing project installation, cost tracking.Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.Provide training and start up assistance for new equipment as well as post project support.Coordinates activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.Directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.Manages preventive and predictive maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff.Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.Reviews new product plans and discusses equipment needs and modifications with design engineers and Research and Development Department.Confers with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.Responsible for researching and organizing energy reduction projects while working with energy firms for eligible rebates.Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.May maintain records and other relevant documents pertaining to equipment and supplies.Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
