The position also provides oversight on projects included under the Small Business Mentoring Program. The incumbent is responsible for the long-and short-term planning, and coordination between the operating, maintenance, and project management groups. The position is responsible for a limited amount of grant writing and reporting for security projects. A sample of the types of projects include CCTV on cars, fiber network, flood mitigation at yards and similar projects. The position works with all levels of management within NYC Transit and the MTA, as well as the NYPD and other local, state, and federal agencies. The incumbent also manages a team including one manager and multiple analysts. The incumbent also coordinates, with NYCT Security, the evaluation of information to determine if it is Security Sensitive. Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field and twelve (12) years of full-time related experience and eight (8) years of Managerial or Supervisory experience. A satisfactory combination of education and experience.
