The Assistant Central Issue Facility (CIF) Supervisor, works under the supervision of the CIF Supervisor, is responsible for daily operations, safety, personnel management, administrative, operations which include but are not limited to providing administrative requirements for direct exchange services for designated organizational clothing and individual equipment items. Ensure coordination and completion of all task and deliverables under the project. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors, and summarizes progress of task area. Works closely with Installation Support Modules, (ISM). Must be extremely knowledgeable in Property Book management, Location Surveys, AAR process, eFLIPL, Statement of Charges, Lateral Transfers, Critical Shortages Listing, Denial Memos, Causative Research, start and finalize inventory process Assigned work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. Responsibilities MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing and shipping clothing or materials. Oversee daily operations and activities of the CIF PBO team. Receive Issue shipping instructions from LRC and provide routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated. Confer with employees and customer to coordinate warehouse activities, such as issue, receiving, inventory and records control post within 72 hours. (PBO FINAL VERIFICATION). Assist with the Planning, develop and implement office, line, warehouse, safety and security programs and activities. Management of the Central Issue Facility (CIF) Property Book administrative operations to include but not limited to providing direct exchange services for designated organizational clothing and individual equipment items. Performs all aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., Property Book management, Location Surveys, AAR process, eFLIPL, Statement of Charges, Lateral Transfers, Critical Shortages Listing, Denial Memos, Causative Research, start and finalize inventory process, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities for the Central Issue Facility (CIF). Monitor daily transactions of the negative on hand balance report and ensuring items on the bottom of property book. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. Individual case problems or supply actions and verifying Memos from Customers for approval or disapproval. Leads and directs the work of personnel within the (PBO). PBO conducts all final verifications on items shipping out and items received. Has some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions. Acts as CIF Supervisor in their absence. Performs other duties and assignments as required. MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Operate personal computer, CIF-ISM, applicable software, and Government Regulations. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: This worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur both inside and outside. Function in an office or warehouse environment in a stationary position approximately 50 percent of time or more. May be exposed to outside weather such as exposure to heat, cold, and warehouse environments. Based on mission requirements there may be required to work overtime, flex time work and weekends. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Must be able to lift a maximum of 25 pounds without assistance. Must be able to stand and walk within work sites 6-8 hours a day in performance of duties. May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)such as protective face masks, protective head, safety vest and eye wear and protective steel or composite toe shoes. Must be able to walk on uneven ground and within work various sites 6-8 hours a day in performance of duties. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: Associate or bachelor's degree in business or related logistics area preferred with four (4) years of leadership experience. Valid State Driver’s License with no restrictions. Must be able to secure and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) (NAC-I clearance required). Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Ten (10) years of Army logistics experience. Prior experience in CIF Management Operations preferred. At least 2 years' experience managing a Property Book. Prefer a working knowledge of CIF Installation Support Module (CIF-ISM) as computer database for inventory accountability. Prefer former Supply System Technician Warrant Officer (MOS 920B) or Senior Supply NCO. A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. An understanding of the needs of the organization serviced. Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines. Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and procedures. Work requires extensive interaction with customers. Excellent verbal and written communicator with strong technical capacity and ability to accurately complete all documentation. Extensive knowledge of customer service best practices with ability to resolve customer complaints and issues while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
