The Ten Mile Urgent Care Clinic is looking for an Assistant Clinical Lead RN!

Position Summary & Highlights:

In addition to providing direct patient care and provider support, the Assistant Clinical Lead (ACL) assists the Practice Manager with coordination of all back-office staff and acts as liaison between support staff, physicians and clinic managers/administrators. 

The ACL will assist with routine staff meetings, scheduling, competencies, staff education, etc. 

The ACL will also assist the Practice Nurse Lead with Joint Commission, OSHA, CLIA and State radiological safety standards as well as any other local, state or federal regulations.

The ACL also provides clinical leadership and support at clinic location and throughout the network.

What You Will Do:

Assist in the coordination the day-to-day back-office operations of outpatient clinical site focusing on customer service and physician/staff relationship. 

Provide clinical leadership and assists with crisis management as indicated.

Assist the Clinic Supervisor with the following:

Mentoring and disciplining clinical staff as appropriate to their professional licensure or certification.

Supporting staff education and development.

Identifying methods of improving patient care.

Regulatory compliance, education, and readiness.

Instructing policies and procedures with clinical functions.

Inventory management of all medical/surgical supplies

Staffing schedules as needed.

Competency and evaluation completion as indicated by their licensure or certification.

Serve as back-up member of the Ambulatory Care Council and attends monthly meetings when Practice Nurse Lead is not available.

Actively participate in network process improvement projects as delegated by the Practice Nurse Lead.

Provide medical/nursing care to an assigned patient population under the direction of a provider, RN, or LPN.

Assistant Clinical Lead, RN Dual License Minimum Qualifications

Colleague must have an RN license, as defined by their primary work state (Idaho) issued prior to hire date.

All colleagues must provide licensure or proof of application in process for an Oregon RN license within 6 months of the hire date.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing strongly preferred.

Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
