Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department. The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department. Also, the Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel. 

About the units:

20-bed unit Transplant and Hepatobiliary Surgery Unit (H6) specializes in kidney, liver, lung, intestinal and pancreas transplants. In addition, cares for all liver cancer surgery patients.  24-private beds, the Acute Care Surgery (H4I4) treats a variety of surgical patient diagnoses, including abdominal issues such as small bowel obstruction, pancreatitis, gallstones, appendicitis, gunshot wounds, stabs, falls, tracheostomies and ostomies. 

• Position: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Rotating Shifts

• Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Two years RN experience.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES:
