Job Description:
Brown University Athletics and Recreation is seeking candidates for the Assistant Coach, Football - Quarterbacks. Located in Providence, Rhode Island, and a member of the Ivy League, our intercollegiate athletics program consists of 34 varsity teams with approximately 1,000 athletes who participate within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA-DI).
This position assists the Head Coach in all phases of the Football program, with specific focus on a position area to be determined by the Head Coach, specifically the quarterbacks. This includes coaching, recruiting, and administrative duties such as coordinating/planning practices, video analysis and instruction, and completing compliance information. This position supports all efforts to continue to attract the nation’s top football players to our Division I non-scholarship program.
Entry into the candidate pool requires the following:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent if international, required.1-3 years coaching experience with a competitive club, high school or collegiate program; Prior collegiate coaching experience preferred (and/or a combination of coaching & competitive playing experience)Competitive playing experience, preferred.Job Competencies
