Position Summary/Description:
The Assistant Director of Sports Performance – Olympic Sports will assist the Assistant Athletic Director/Director of Sports Performance – Olympic Sports with all aspects of the Strength and Conditioning program including but not limited to practice competition activities, player skill development, recruiting, directing and implementing plans for daily practices and competitions, organizing and administering clinics etc. and overall administrative tasks within the operation of the program. Must demonstrate integrity, leadership, a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel and recruit academically qualified students.
Education and Experience:
Prefer at least 1 year in relevant independent or educational activities.
Essential Skills:
2-5 years of coaching experience in an intercollegiate environment preferably at a Division I level. Knowledge of and familiarity of NCAA rules and regulations. Good organizational, interpersonal communications and computer skills necessary.
