Assistant Coach Men's and Women's Tennis
General Scope of Duties
Connecticut College, a private liberal arts institution in New London, CT and a member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and NCAA Division III, is seeking a full-time assistant coach for our women's & men's tennis programs. We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and passionate coach who is committed to an environment that embraces the holistic development of the student athlete while assisting to develop the program within the highly competitive NESCAC athletic conference.

General Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include preparing the team for intercollegiate season, including in-season and non-traditional practices, scouting of opponents and game preparation. The individual will play an active role in identifying, evaluating and recruiting qualified prospective student athletes including regional and national travel. Oversee student-athletic academic progress and support for overall student-athlete well-being. Assist in the engagement and communication with alumni and parents to support fundraising initiatives. Oversee team social media and marketing efforts. Additionally, this person will serve in an administrative capacity as directed by the Athletic Administration. It is expected that this individual has knowledge or and adherence to NCAA Division III, NESCAC, and Connecticut College rules and regulations. This position requires both night and weekend availability throughout the year.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree and 1-3 years of collegiate coaching experience.
Benefits Eligible: Full Benefits
Salary Range: $43,888 (will be prorated based on number of weeks remaining in the academic year)
