About the Role
Responsible for all matters relating to Board of Directors to ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirementsRoles and Responsibilities:
To assist in organising board and committees meetings of various AIA entities covered by Group Legal and prepare minutes for such meetingsTo assist in the preparation of annual returns as well as other corporate filings and, where necessary, to provide technical input in relation to the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance, Insurance Ordinance and other corporate compliance processesTo participate and provide company secretarial support to any ongoing or ad-hoc projects of the GroupTo maintain and update company secretarial records, registers and statutory filingsTo draft and update corporate governance policies & standards, and lead/support the implementation of groupwide corporate governance practicesTo provide coaching and supervision over company secretarial supporting staff of delegated assignmentsMinimum Job Requirements:
A member of HKICS/ICSA or a qualified solicitorAt least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, ideally with insurance, banking or financial services backgroundExcellent command of written and spoken English and ChineseExperienced in taking minutes for board and committee meetingsGood working attitude and excellent inter-personal and communication skillsExcellent in managing team resources, dealing with and handling multiple and changing work deadlines and prioritiesExcellent organisation skills and experienced in planning workflowsMature, well-organised, self-motivated, detail-minded and able to work independently and as part of a teamBuild a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
