Description Robert Half is partnering with a growing Las Vegas organization in their search for an Assistant Controller. This role is pivotal in supporting the financial operations, ensuring the financial records are precise, and compliance with financial regulations is maintained. A methodical and detail-oriented individual will thrive in this structured and process-driven financial environment. Responsibilities: + Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, billings, and grant billings + Ensure accuracy and compliance with grant management award documentation and reporting requirements + Aid with audits, schedules, and tracking of financial transactions + Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records, both electronic and hard copy + Assist with maintaining business office files and ensure proper approvals are obtained + Prepare and distribute checks, ensuring all backup documentation is complete + Process credit card statements and review backup documentation + Assist in the annual budget preparation for all departments + Maintain Fixed Asset schedule and ensure compliance with internal policies, grant regulations, and audit requirements + Provide general support to the operations team as needed Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field + 2-3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations in the non-profit industry + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Desktop + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping. + Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain financial compliance. + Professional and factual communication skills with internal teams and external partners.
