Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Controller in Houston, Texas. This role is in the Financial Services industry and will involve managing customer accounts and processing applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, processing customer applications, and resolving customer queries. Responsibilities: • Manage and review month-end close items, reconciliations, and analysis. • Assist in preparing quarterly and year-end statements. • Handle regulatory examinations, inquiries, and annual audits. • Take part in and contribute to special projects as needed. • Ensure accurate customer credit records are maintained. • Efficiently process customer credit applications. • Monitor customer accounts and undertake appropriate actions as needed. • Use casualty insurance skills to manage and maintain customer accounts. For immediate experience contact Mark, mark.loiacano@roberthalf.c0m Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Financial Services industry • Proven experience as an Assistant Controller or other similar role • Solid knowledge of Insurance industry • Strong understanding of financial and accounting procedures • Experience using financial software • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is required • Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus.
