This Individual will be responsible for managing the month end close process, analyzing and verifying financial information, perform various account reconciliations and financial analytics on site performance.

Reports to the Plant Controller and requires interaction with other members of the accounting team as well as the plant operations teams.

Key Accountabilities:

Lead month end close process including preparation/approval of journal entries, reconciliations, and reportsAnalyze transactions throughout the month to verify accuracyAssist the WNY Plant Controller with submission of timely and accurate financial data to provide managementPrepare Internal Quarterly Financial Reporting PackageAssist WNY Plant Controller with annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecastingAct as a business partner to other departments to obtain and convey information and/or to correct transactionsWork with internal and external audit responding to requests and providing supportIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency in the plant processes and assist in executingPrepare and submit quarterly/annual ECIDA ReportsComplete monthly and annual Census Reports as requiredWork with plant operations and WNY Plant Controller to update standard costs annuallySupport analytics of site performance, long term financial planning and capital expenditures

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required3-5 years of relevant experience, manufacturing and/or public accounting experience preferredExcellent organizational and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Excel/PowerpointExperience with ERP and Financial systems (Onestream, AS400 and/or Masterpiece preferred)

Salary Range: $79,074-105,000
