Description We are seeking an Assistant Controller to be an integral part of our team near Hammond, Louisiana. This role involves a range of responsibilities including full-cycle accounting, reconciliations, cost analysis, and finance-related tasks. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the manufacturing industry. This role is in-office Monday- Thursday and remote on Friday. Flexible working hours are offered! Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage full-cycle accounting operations • Conduct accurate job costing and manage raw material expenses • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions • Carry out auditing tasks as required • Process billing functions in a timely and accurate manner • Utilize Accounting Software Systems for efficient financial management • Use ADP - Financial Services for various finance-related tasks • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems; Great Plains experience preferred • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions • Skilled in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Familiarity with Auditing procedures • Ability to handle Billing Functions effectively • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Familiarity with Job Cost calculations • Knowledge about Raw Materials accounting • Proficiency in Financial Analysis Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
