Description Our client in the Lower Fairfield, CT area has a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Assistant Controller. The Assistant Controller and play a crucial part in maintaining and supporting all of their financial activities. Responsibilities: • Conducting in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions • Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of high-volume accounts payable • Handling monthly financial closing procedures with precision and efficiency • Undertaking bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy • Creating and maintaining account reconciliations for the purpose of financial control • Assisting in the preparation and delivery of financial reporting • Overseeing and managing prepaids as part of the financial operations • Monitoring customer credit applications and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
