Assistant Controller
Description We are in search of a skilled Assistant Controller to become a vital part of our team. Based in Seattle, Washington, this role plays a crucial part in the financial reporting and accounting for multiple entities within the manufacturing sector. This position involves managing financial operations, coordinating period closes, and leading transitions of ERP systems. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accounting functions for various entities • Manage and coordinate period closes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting • Lead the transition and implementation of ERP systems to optimize financial operations • Ensure compliance with internal controls to maintain financial integrity • Handle cash flow forecasting to aid financial planning and decision-making • Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable activities • Oversee auditing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance • Manage billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing • Utilize accounting software systems, ADP - Financial Services, Concur, Crystal Reports, and DCAA to streamline processes. Compensation: The starting salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $140,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Employee Benefits: Medical, dental, vision and life insurance premiums, along with paid time-off (15 days PTO to start, increase with tenure), standard US paid holidays and a 401(k) plan with a company match up to 4%. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential. • Knowledge and experience with Concur will be beneficial. • Ability to use Crystal Reports is desired. • Understanding of DCAA guidelines and regulations is necessary. • Must be able to handle various accounting functions efficiently. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial. • Proficient in managing Accounts Receivable (AR). • Auditing skills and experience are mandatory. • Ability to perform billing functions effectively.
