Assistant Controller - Marietta (LUV)
Description We are seeking an Assistant Controller for our team in Marietta, Georgia. In this role, you will be involved in critical financial operations, including the processing of journal entries and month-end close procedures. This position requires high accuracy and attention to detail, as you will be instrumental in maintaining and monitoring our financial records. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accurate processing of journal entries and ensure all financial transactions are recorded promptly. • Administer month-end close procedures and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. • Evaluate and maintain internal control systems to improve accuracy and efficiency. • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement financial strategies. • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support decision-making processes. • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company's budgets. • Review and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. • Provide support for financial audits and cooperate with internal and external auditors. • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. • Utilize financial software to streamline financial management tasks. + Send resumes to Luv Mirani Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or related financial field. • Proficient in Month End Close processes. • Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing Journal Entries. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred. • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work. • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity. • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing a team. + send Resumes to Luv Mirani Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
