Job Summary
The Assistant Dean for Student Success and Belonging is responsible for providing leadership and direction of Student Success initiatives. The Assistant Dean collaborates with other portfolio areas throughout Student Life and across the Institute to advance efforts to foster the academic success for underrepresented minority students. The Assistant Dean provides leadership in developing and implementing programs and policies, which support the Institute’s vision for the recruitment, matriculation, success, and graduation of students who come from underrepresented backgrounds.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in related field Two (2) years of experience in higher education and demonstrated knowledge in research and practice in the field of diversity, justice, critical methodologies, and equity in education. Experience with assessment and experience with working with inter-personal, inter-cultural, civic programs in higher education setting is requiredRelevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in sociology, psychology, student personnel, counseling, higher education or related fieldsMinimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Starting Salary/Rate
Expected hiring range: $63,000- $66,000
