Job Description:

The Assistant Director, Ambulatory Value-Based Care & Clinical Quality is a key partner for the UF Health Physician (UFHP) practice. Reporting directly to the UFHP Chief Medical Officer, under the leadership of the CEO for UF Health Physicians and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Practices, the Assistant Director will be responsible for combining program management, administrative support, and process improvement across the UF Health enterprise relating to Value-Based Care while also providing direct leadership to the Value-Based Care Clinical Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead High-Impact Projects – Manage complex operational initiatives, streamline processes, and ensure projects align with organizational goals. Collaborate with senior leaders to problem-solve and lead the implementation and operationalization of the solutions. Develop thoughtful and clear materials for various audiences, including executive teams, market leadership teams, and field teams for effective digestion and adoption.  Data-Driven Analysis – Conduct operational research, analyze best practices, and integrate metrics to optimize efficiency. Serve as the administrative and business liaison to program development processes Incorporate metrics into projects and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of all activities, proposing, revising, and overseeing activities as necessary to achieve successful efforts. Budget Oversight – Develop and manage budgets for clinical and strategic initiatives. Stakeholder Collaboration – Act as a liaison between leadership, internal teams, and external partners to drive strategic growth and operational success. Provide administrative support for UFHP clinical operations and community engagement initiatives. Support department, division, and institutional projects, staff recruitment, policy implementation, and budget management, as appropriate.

Expected Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience working with a variety of people at all levels of an organization. Must be self-motivated and comfortable working independently, as a team leader and as a team member. Demonstrated ability to present to key stakeholders and/or leadership. Excellent oral and written communications skills, especially proof-reading and public speaking skills. Significant background in business or healthcare administration Demonstrated ability to establish work priorities and coordinate the timely completion of work assignments, strong organizational skills. High level of professional judgment, excellent project management skills. Demonstrated success and experience in project management, as well as the ability to lead focus groups and committees through project completion.   Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to influence across functional lines required. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and senior leadership. Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite – Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in reviewing electronic medical records. Excellent delegation and time management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. Strong analytical, creative problem solving, and critical thinking skillset. Proven ability to implement change and continuous improvement with an understanding of data analytics to drive quality and performance improvement. Special Instructions to Applicants:
