The Leominster Adult Outpatient Center provides strength-based individual and group therapy to adults, and couples age 18 and over. We offer integrated, whole person care with primary care, and behavioral health. The Leominster Counseling Center also offers specialized substance use disorder treatment. Our office based opioid treatment offers buprenorphine and vivitrol treatment.
Assists the Director of the Counseling Center with the management of the day-to-day operations of the Counseling Center and/or program(s) in the Clinic.
Responsibilities:
Compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, contractual obligations, licensing standards, accreditation standards for which the Counseling Center and/or program(s) in the Counseling Center is/are responsible.Direct supervision of staffManagement tasks, including but not limited to, Counseling Center and/or program oversight in the absence of the Director, incident reporting to required parties, milieu management, continuous quality improvement.Facilitate staff meetings, coordination with other managers in Community Healthlink, participation in Community Healthlink Management Team, participation in Adult Outpatient Managers meetings along with participating and communicating with community stakeholders (DDS, Police, etc.).Participates in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment team and planning conferences.Consults with doctors, family members/caretakers, other social service agencies, insurance providers, and hospital networks regarding clients, client services, and case management.Maintains client records, administrative records, and supervision records consistent with agency and division policy and relevant laws, regulations, and other standards.Encourages and supports diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, respect, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.Qualifications:
Master's DegreeIndependent licensure in Massachusetts to provide behavioral health services (Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)Ability to supervise clinical and administrative staff.Demonstrated experience in the management and/or supervision of outpatient behavioral health services.Knowledge of clinical treatment with individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health conditionsEffective communication with consumers, staff, peers, and other professionalsExcellent verbal, writing, and computer skillsAll candidates will be subject to a CORI review as outlined in the regulations set by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
