Assistant Director Export Controls
Job Description This position works with the Director of Export Controls, who works collaboratively with the Office of Sponsored Programs, CoMotion, Office of Global Affairs, Finance & Facilities, UW HR, Purchasing, Chief Information Security Office (CISO), and other offices at the University in the review of research and other business activities that require adherence to export control regulations. In collaboration with the director be implementing new policy and procedures campus wide as need. Skills and Requirements Bachelors Degree - Preferable STEM or Engineering background   4-6 Years experience working within high volume business setting    At least 2 years experience working within regulatory can be in corporate, not-for-profit, government, or higher education.   Knowledge within export control regulations, either software, goods, services etc.    Significant experience in the development of policies and procedures in the area of export control and related security requirements   Excellent written and oral communication skills when communicating technical or regulatory/policy information. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
