The property is currently hiring an Assistant Director of Finance, Residences. The role is responsible for assisting in the direction and administration of all financial operations of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

\n

As the Assistant Director of Finance, Residences, you would be responsible for assisting in the direction and administration of all financial operations of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nReview transaction of the property to ascertain that they are correct and posted properly to general ledger.\nReview cash balance to determine that property has enough funds to pay their liabilities and bank accounts would not be overdrawn. If necessary, prepare transfers to cover accounts.\nApprove payables based on cash flow and determine if they are correctly coded to general ledger account.\nAnswer or find answers for financial questions from property manager or board members.\nReview and approve check requests.\nCheck requests for capital improvement projects should be reviewed to make sure there is not a duplicate payment and that the attached engineer report indicates proper year-to-date payments and application number.\nJournal entries to allocate expenses related to Residential and monthly accruals\nMaster Association allocations \nPrepare tenant HOA fees\nSupport Residential team on fee collection\nWork with external Auditors on compliance\nPrepare monthly forecast updates\nPrepare monthly cash flow for Sponsor\nPrepare deficit funding files\nMonitor and approve purchase orders and appropriate general ledger accounts\nMonitor Owner house accounts and prepare monthly invoices\nMonthly balance sheet account reconciliations including bank, payables, receivables, and accruals\nPrepare monthly reports including Operating P&L Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow\n\n

Salary Range: $130,000-$140,000 based on applicable experience
