THE JOB:
Provide direction and leadership for the Housekeeping, EVS, and Uniforms team, consistent with the MGM Resorts brand.  Responsible for leading the Housekeeping, EVS, and Uniforms team in achieving operational and financial goals. Responsible for monitoring the performance, scheduling, and training of the staff; maintaining the department's guest service in accordance with  MGM Resorts standards, ensuring high customer satisfaction and an exceptional guest experience.


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Oversee leadership in the development and monitoring of housekeeping, EVS, and uniforms departments’ fiscal budget and guest service standards, to maximize revenue opportunities to produce both short-term and long-term profitability.

Oversee implementation of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, work schedules, rules, and regulations for housekeeping, EVS, and Uniforms staff and personnel, in response to business demands.

Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and coach front office staff for the efficient operation of the department. Drive employee engagement through coaching, training, and development.

Ensure an exceptional guest experience within the housekeeping, EVS, and uniforms department, consistent with the company’s service standards.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Bachelor's Degree in hospitality, management, or related field or equivalent experience

4+ Years of experience in the direction and management of employees in a similar hotel environment which includes at least three (3) years of experience in housekeeping operations management

Strong overall knowledge of housekeeping operations

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent organizational skills; be able to function under time constraints and deadlines with attention to detail
