The Belmont Simulation Center is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual responsible for assisting the Director of Interprofessional Education to launch and lead the interprofessional healthcare program at Belmont University. We are looking for an experienced educator that is enthusiastic about Interprofessional Education (IPE) and has a strong background working interprofessionally with other healthcare team members, both in the academic and practice settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of interprofessional curricula between programs in the College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and College of Medicine.Plan and execute interprofessional events and activities with the College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and College of Medicine.Develop an interprofessional faculty development program alongside the Simulation Director of Education and the Director of Interprofessional Education.Develop interprofessional simulations with the Simulation Director of Education and simulation educators.Work alongside clinical/experiential directors in the College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and College of Medicine to develop interprofessional sites to support asynchronous learning. Ensure interprofessional education accreditation requirements for the programs in the College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and College of Medicine are met through assessment mapping and documentation. Collaborate with the Director of Interprofessional Education to ensure the interprofessional program is achieving IPEC competencies.Collaborate with the Director of Interprofessional Education on budget management for the interprofessional program and to work with University Advancement and Development and The Office of Sponsored Programs to identify and pursue funding opportunities such as philanthropy and grants for the program.
