LENOIR HEALTH AND REHAB in LENOIR, NC is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Nursing.

As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you’ll play a vital role in our ability to continuously provide Care Beyond Compare through your exceptional leadership, guidance, and supervision of the nursing team. You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices, and empowering our nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. Your guidance and support will be pivotal in maintaining our standards of excellence and enhancing the overall patient experience.

What you'll do

· Support the Director of Nursing in providing leadership and oversight to the nursing team.

· Assist in developing and executing plans to meet departmental goals and objectives.

· Monitor patient care delivery and clinical outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, including state and federal regulations.

· Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and employee engagement.

· Partner with Human Resources to recruit, onboard, and retain top nursing talent.

· Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care and safety.

· Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.

What you need

· Active, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina.

· Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

· Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in nursing practice and patient care.

· Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Highly organized and detail oriented.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
