Visit us online at: https://hermitagehall.com/ The Assistant Director of Nursing is a vital member of the Nursing Team at Hermitage Hall. Provides oversight and management in absence of the Director of Nursing with the goal of maintaining quality and safety, enhancing efficiencies, managing resources, and optimizing patient and staff satisfaction. The ADON is involved in the recruitment of new employees, the nursing orientation program and on-boarding processes, and the continuing nursing education processes. Assists with the development and implementation of quality initiatives and ongoing performance monitoring with goal of guiding nursing practice and enhancing the quality of nursing services provided. The ADON assists with delegating, coordinating, and providing supervision to nursing personnel. Specifically, ensures therapeutic techniques support the utilization of the nursing process that promotes safe, effective and cost efficient resident care. Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a CCNE accredited nursing program; Master of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred.One to 3 or more years of progressive nursing management experience in behavioral health setting. Knowledge: Minimum of 1-3 years of direct or indirect supervision of nursing staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
