Key Accountabilities

Oversee the hotel’s wages and salary schemes as well as HSH Compensation policies, together with the Compensation & Benefits Manager. Review Hotel’s employee benefits program and HRIS system. Formulate and administer Human Resources Policy and Procedures within the Hotel in coordination with the Director of HR. Monitor hotel’s labor productivity with the support of labor management software. Lead ad-hoc projects e.g. implementation of HRIS systems, talent acquisition systems, talent management systems. Support L&D team to develop yearly L&D plan. Monitor expiration and process renewal of expatriates’ working permits/visas (including dependents) with Bureau of Immigration, including documentation and representation thereof and keeps personnel records such as legal requirements, working permits/visas, passports, accommodation/lease agreements, etc. Conduct Employee Engagement Survey and support to improve work condition with each department.

General Requirements

Bachelor degree or above in Human Resources Management. Minimum 7-year experience in HR Management or hotel operations with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity. Fluent English speaker and preferably Japanese with great respect for Japanese culture. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff. Sound knowledge and concept of management practice in hospitality industry.
