**Country:** China **Location:** LOC3254: No.3239 Shenjiang Road, Shanghai, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, China **Role Responsibilities:** + Provide heat transfer and thermodynamics expertise in the development of next generation high efficiency and environmentally friendly HVAC/R systems + Lead air-conditioning and refrigeration component/system modeling tasks including model requirement development, model test plan creation and model verification & validation. + Propose new projects with necessary supporting material + **Manage moderately sized projects or process** + **Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower level professionals.** + **Manage moderately sized team** **Minimum Requirements:** + MS degree or above in thermal, refrigeration and air-conditioning or fluid machinery with 8+ year experience (MS) and 4+ year experience (PhD). + Strong background in heat transfer, thermodynamics + Modeling experience of 1D thermal fluid systems. + Engineering experience in design or application of HVAC/R or Power plant equipment. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Strong verbal and written English skills + Ability to collaborate across functions. + **Expert knowledge of** **modeling discipline.** + **Expert knowledge of project and process management.** + **Expert knowledge of team management** **Carrier is An Equal** **Opportunity/Affirmative** **Action Employer.
