We have an opportunity for an Assistant Entity Controller to join our CORP team in Bucharest.

Location & Work Schedule
Location:    3 George Constantinescu / Bucharest, 020339
Work Schedule:  3 days onsite at office /2 days’ work from home - (Must be able to work in the office 3 days a week, full remote is not an option) 

In this role you will leverage your accounting and general ledger experience to perform activities in collaboration with cross-business teams. You will act as a role model for all company behaviors and values, and through your influence you will inspire colleagues and teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs accounting activities which may include General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inter-Company, VAT and Tax reporting transactions, Inventories, Reporting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
May assist finance functions with payroll, tax, sales and/or cost accounting
Processes and check journals according to the defined procedures and accounting principles and legislation
Produces routine reports, schedules, and summaries for management
Scans statements, ledgers, and accounts to identify unusual or overdue items and selects the correct procedure to verify or adjust discrepancies or errors
Responds to specific questions from business stake holders and clarifies situations when necessary 
May establish, modify, document and co-ordinate implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures
Ensure all journal entries comply with internal and external audit specifications
Conduct accounts reconciliation periodically, ledger close activities, and provide accurate financial data to support management in decision making

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Time management, analytical thinking individual with around 1-5 years experience on a similar role (as a Accountant, in General Accounting and reporting experience)Bachelor's Degree in Finance or AccountingKnowledge of US GAAP / knowledge of IFRS is a plusUnderstanding of financial reporting and internal controlStrong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.) and ERP program: OracleFluent in English CECCAR or ACCA may be a plus
