Position Summary: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Facility Manager to Support oversee the operations and maintenance of our facilities and buildings in Sri Lanka. As the Assistant Facility Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the facilities by supporting to implement maintenance programs, managing vendor contracts, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support to Oversee all aspects of facility operations in Assigned Locations, including maintenance, repairs, cleaning, landscaping, and security, while ensuring adherence to operational guidelines and industry standards.Support to Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for building systems and equipment, scheduling repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.Support to Prepare and manage the facility budget, including cost tracking, expense forecasting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety.Support to Select and manage third-party vendors for facility-related services, negotiate contracts and service-level agreements, and monitor vendor performance.Support to Coordinate space planning and utilization, optimizing space allocation based on organizational needs and compliance with health and safety regulations.Support to Foster positive relationships with tenants or occupants, addressing their concerns and requests promptly, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Support to Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing necessary measures to mitigate risks.Support to Develop and implement emergency response plans, including fire safety, evacuation procedures, and disaster recovery plans, to ensure the facility is well-prepared for potential emergencies.Support to Implement sustainable practices and initiatives within the facility, such as energy efficiency programs, waste management, and green building certifications.Support to Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility management, including maintenance logs, financial records, inspections, and reports.Support to Provide leadership and supervision to the facility management team, including hiring, training, performance management, and fostering a collaborative work environment.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.years of experience in facility management, preferably in a similar industry or type of facility.Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and contract negotiations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and promote a positive work environment.Proficient in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications would be considered as an added advantage.To apply, please submit your resume along with a cover letter highlighting your relevant experience and qualifications to [email address].
