About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Finance Manager in Finance Department to join Jumeirah Group. 

The main duties and responsibilities of this role: 

Support the ongoing monitoring of the SBU’s financial transactions and balance to ensure that all expenditures remain within budget, that profitability is maintained at the expected levels and that there is full visibility on the SBU’s financial performance.  Manage and supervise the A/P, A/R, Accruals, Prepayments, Bank reconciliations, stock taking, posting of month end and related JVs and help the Finance Manager in carrying out the month end related tasks. Assist in maintaining the statutory ledger and contribute to the tracking and prioritisation of new system requirements in order to ensure that all records are validated, reported and maintained up to date.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Essential

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University. Professional Finance or Accounting Certification (i.e. CPA, CIMA).

Desired:

Master’s degree in finance, Accounting or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
