Job Description

As Assistant Financial Controller, you will take the lead on the hotel's financial strategy and operational performance. Your responsibilities will encompass financial reporting, setting up and optimizing internal controls, team management and development, and capital expenditure review. You'll also be tasked with developing productive relationships with third parties in the region. This role requires close collaboration with the Hotel General Manager, cross-functional Executive Team, and Corporate Office to establish and drive the performance of the hotel. Your leadership will be crucial in setting up, establishing, and enhancing the financial operations of the property.

QualificationsDegree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldProfessional accounting qualificationMinimum 5 years of managerial experience, including:Proven track record in driving hotel finance performanceStrong technical accounting, finance, and taxation skillsExperience in management and statutory reportingExtensive knowledge of hotel internal controlsProficiency in budgeting processesTeam management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines and coach team membersStrong communication skills with various stakeholdersExcellent verbal and written English skillsComputer literacy, including systems implementationKnowledge of Sun, Opera, and Micros systems
