\nThe Assistant F&D Manager supports the F&D Manager to run daily F&D operations and create exceptional guest experiences.

\n\n\n\n\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\nAs Assistant F&D Manager, you will:
\n\n
1. Commercial Performance
\n· Manage daily F&D operations effectively to deliver strong commercial performance, supporting the business plan developed by the F&D Manager
\n· Review departmental results with the F&D Manager - including sales, costs, profit margins, covers, guest satisfaction - and implement action plans to improve performance
\n\n
2. Exceptional Guest Experiences
\n· Deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining consistently high service standards and product knowledge throughout the F&D operations team
\n· Make sure that food allergies, dietary requirements and guest modifications are treated with absolute seriousness
\n· Review and act on guest feedback, taking prompt action to resolve guest complaints and improve guest loyalty
\n\n
3. Great Working Environment
\n· Support the F&D Manager in managing, training and motivating the F&D Operations Team, creating an inclusive environment where all Team Members can thrive and achieve their professional goals
\n· Practice great people management, from recruitment to training to succession planning and recognition
\n· Work with the F&D Manager to develop an efficient workforce plan to identify current and future needs based on forecast business volumes, budgets and HR guidelines
\n· Assist the F&D Manager to schedule Team Members’ working time efficiently, offering flexibility where possible and minimizing overtime costs
\n· Communicate well and often, building great relationships with key stakeholders.
\n\n
4. Day-To-Day Essentials
\n· Manage breakfast operations and in-room dining effectively to give guests an excellent start and end to their day
\n· Assist the F&D Manager to make sure opening and closing procedures are carried out correctly at each F&D venue, including financial reports and reconciliations
\n· Ensure F&D operations strictly comply with all regulations (including health, safety and hygiene, food safety certification, licensing) and that potentially hazardous situations are identified, reported and corrected
\n· Support the F&D Manager to manage F&D inventory, stock control and purchasing, in line with hotel guidelines
\n· Keep up to date with what’s happening in F&D – current and future trends, markets, ingredients, competitors and suppliers – to drive innovation.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
\n\n
We’re looking for a manager who is passionate about food and drink, with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience in branded hotels with a large F&D operation would be an advantage.
\n\n
To be successful in this position you will have:
\n· Commercial focus, with ability to deliver exceptional business performance and results
\n· Good people management skills, experienced in managing, developing and motivating a large team and working effectively with other departments.
\n· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deliver a compelling message for the right audience, from team briefings to commercial business presentations
\n· Customer focus, maintaining the highest standards of service to create memorable guest experiences
\n· Effective relationship management skills to build good working relationships with key stakeholders,
\n· Adaptability and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and focused under pressure.
\n\n
You will be also fluent in[English and comfortable using F&B systems and MS Office.

USEFUL TO KNOW: This position is full-time and may require working weekend and/or evening shifts.
