4 Year Degree Berry College invites applications and nominations for the part-time position of assistant football coach. Reporting to the head football coach, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head coach with the organization, supervision, and administration of an NCAA Division III intercollegiate football program. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, practice and game preparation/management, compliance, equipment management, and commitment to student-athletes' academic progress and degree completion. This position will include a $15,000 stipend over a 10-month period.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree required. Previous experience playing at the collegiate level is preferred. The candidate should also possess good communication skills, strong leadership and mentoring abilities, and the ability to create a culture that is both disciplined and caring. 

The candidate will also demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to a liberal arts education, Division III athletics, and an appreciation for and commitment to all NCAA, Southern Athletic Association (SAA) conference, and institutional rules and regulations.
