As an Assistant Fund Controller at CBRE IA&R, you will report directly to the Fund Controller and be at the heart of our service delivery to a diverse portfolio of clients. We also manage joint ventures and separate accounts meeting specific client investment requirements. Within CBRE IA&R, you will be challenged to develop yourself, to extend your knowledge and skills and to further improve and professionalise various processes within the company. **What You’ll Do:** + Produce Statutory Reporting, Investor Reporting, Board Papers, NAV Calculations, Income Distribution Calculations and Income Tax and VAT Returns for the UK, Ireland & Jersey Real Estate Funds or Special Purpose Vehicles where required. + Ensure that appropriate records are maintained for entities and underlying assets on our Yardi system. + Build, develop and maintain good working relationships between the team and its internal/external clients and suppliers + With the support of senior team members, ensure that CBRE group policies are complied with and work to continue to refine of existing procedures/practices and processes. + Provide oversight of loan administration and produce compliance reporting where required + Provide oversight of and involvement in invoice authorisation and cash management operations + Complete other ad-hoc projects and tasks from time to time **What You’ll Need:** + Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) + Experience of preparing financial statements under both FRS 102 and IFRS (both standalone and consolidated) + Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office + Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal + Strong analytical and critical thinking skills + Focused on delivering solutions with agreed timeframes + Ability to remain calm and in control when working under pressure + A background in property or real estate would be advantageous but not essential **What we offer:** + An international work environment where your contributions matter. + A competitive salary and bonus structure that reflects your talent and hard work. + Comprehensive employment benefits to support your wellbeing. + A permanent contract that offers stability and growth potential. **CBRE Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions:** CBRE is the largest commercial real estate company in the world, is comprised of several business lines including leasing services, capital markets, valuations & advisory services, and property management; with regional and global capabilities in all major markets around the globe.
