**Job Description**
**Responsibilities:**
Draft and negotiate complex business and client (individual, institutional and retirement) agreements **.**
Provide legal counsel and advice to the various business units.
Be a Legal partner to firm control groups in the firm relative to Global Wealth Solutions businesses.
Manage outside counsel deliverables and costs.
Train and mentor paralegals and administrative colleagues.
Provide advice to senior managers to enable the implementation of policy, projects, and change initiatives.
Prepare and deliver written and oral presentations to management on legal issues.
Participate in or lead projects to find solutions, implement and improve processes, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Handle stressful situations, a heavy diverse case load, and provide a high level of customer service in a calm and professional manner.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization, including negotiating resources.
**Education**
Juris Doctor (JD): Law
**Work Experience**
General Experience – 10 to 15 years
**Certifications**
State Bar (Any State) - American Bar Association
**Travel**
Less than 25%
