About the Club
Harrison Meadows CC is a semi private facility located in Harrison, NY. The golf club was purchased by the town of Harrison in 2021. The goal is to make the club fun and family oriented with good camaraderie for the residents of Harrison. The club has 18 holes, large practice facility with teaching area, pool and tennis facilities.
 

Summary
• This is a full-time salaried position and requires the candidate to be on site January through December. The candidate will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior services to members and guests. At the same time, the candidate will enjoy a work life balance, playing and practicing golf and the opportunity to assist with a large instructional program. Representing the club in section events and playing with members is encouraged.
• The position will assist the Director of Golf in all areas of the Golf Operation.
 

Responsibilities:
• Assists in the management of department members that may include, but is not limited to: Starters, Player Assistants, and Guest Services Attendants.
• Ensures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Assists in developing ongoing training program.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Initiates and promotes all club golf activities.
• Assists Director of Golf with procurement, merchandise, and shop assistants with merchandising and sales.
• Prepares and executes golf outings acting as the Tournament Coordinator.
• Assists with ordering and controlling expenses, scheduling golf shop staff and invoice coding.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Plays with members.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements:
• Lead by example. Set the benchmark of performance to the department in the areas of motivation, sense of ownership and dedication to quality of product.
• Encourage, train, and motivate staff.
• Works in an organized and thorough manner.
 

Qualifications:
• PGA/LPGA Member in good standing or PGA Apprentice close to becoming a member.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Very knowledgeable in golf operations.
• Enthusiastic team leader who is helpful and approachable.
 

Compensation and Benefits:
• Total anticipated compensation range ($65,000-$95,000)
